Thursday afternoon the snow started falling just as I was picking Lil up from school. By Friday morning, there was a half an inch or so on the ground and school was cancelled. While that sounds ridiculous to midwesterners like myself, the roads were very icy and the only salt trucks and snow plows in Atlanta are located at the airport. It's too bad Santa didn't bring the kids snowsuits this year. Jonathan had to wear a Halloween costume to keep warm and Lil wore her rainboots to play in the snow. This makes the second snow fall in a year, which must be some sort of record down here. I've since ordered the kids waterproof mittens called Snowstoppers, which go half way up their arms, making removal nearly impossible. Mwa ha ha haaaaaaa! It probably won't snow again until they outgrow them. Look closely and you'll notice Jonathan's tail.
